Description:
After much deliberation, I have decided to sell my 4'6" X 24" X 24" complete (still running) marine aquarium. It comes complete with everything - All livestock, live rock, corals enough treatments & chemicals to continue running this set up for several months without having to buy anything. It has been running for around 18 months, so is stable & fully matured. The tank has a corner weir, which feeds the 36" X 18" X 18" sump. This is the engine room & is 'reverse lit' which means when the main tank lights go out, the sump light comes on. It also houses the calcium reactor, phosphate reactor, more live rock & nitrate reducing cheato & caulerpa. In the last compartment is the aqua medic OR3500 return pump.
Lighting is via a Giesemann (simply the best units money can buy) 250watt twin halide, with T5 compact actinics. All tubes/lamps were renewed a month ago,but spare halide lamps are also included. For extra shimmer effect, I have added a pair of TMC reef blue aquaray twin leds.
Circulation is provided by Tunze 6105 with 7091 controller which I run while the main lights are on. The newave 3000 pump runs 24/7.
I have no idea of what weight all the Live rock comes to, but as you can see in the pics, it fills approximately 1/3 of the aquarium & there is more L/R rubble in the sump too.
The exellent bubble magus NAC6 skimmer does what it does - it pulls loads of fishy poo etc. out of the water & is easy & quick to clean.
A cleartides reactor keeps unwanted phosphates in check & cheato sorts nitrates.
There are also a lot of additives that are included, most of which are either full, or nearly full.
25kg of aquamedic salt
Deltec fr509 calcium reactor (new media & plenty Co2) delivers calcium rich boost for strong coral growth.
3 X 25 litre water barrels
Refractometer
Hydrometer
Top up kit (I haven't used this)
6 stage R/O unit with in-line TDS meter

Please don't ask for any individual items - I am not splitting at all.
Obviously this is a very heavy item, & you will need at least 2 strong people to move the tank. I will of course help this end.
If you are interested, & would like more pictures just let me know, or better still, come around to view.
I've spent a small fortune on this set up & haven't cut any corners with cheap equipment, however, my asking price is a very fair £1000 (non-neg).
Thank you for looking.
