Description:
My amateur breeding project has grown too big as the fish are breeding too well. I no longer have the time thus I am selling everything. There are 2 TANKS with all the necessary equipment i.e. Fluval filter, lighting, heaters etc. There are 3 floating tanks to protect fry. There is also about 30kg of ocean rock and coral sand.
1. TANK 1- The Breeding tank has more than 100 fry from the following fish: Pseudotropheus saulosi, Tropheops Sp. "Red Cheek; Pundamilia nyererei "Python Island"and Nimbochromis livingstonii. Nimbochromis recently produced 50 fry (see pic).
2. TANK 2- measures 16x 21x 47 inches. All the equipment is included i.e. heater, undergravel filter etc. This tank contains over 26 fully grown and 12 juvenile cichlids. Some are very large (see pic). These include
4 Pundamilia nyererei "Python Island" and 4 juveniles
8 adult Pseudotropheus saulosi and approx. 12 juveniles
3 adult Tropheops Sp. "Red Cheek"
4 adult Sciaenochromis fryeri
4 adult Labeotropheus fuelleborni
4 adult Nimbochromis livingstonii
1 golden cichlid
Synodontis catfish
All are paired, except fryeri. Breeding too often! Currently 2-3 are carrying fry.
The large tank has an external 405 fluval heater. The tanks itself is a bit shabby as the one light is slightly disconnected, there is some precipitation and the hood was split in the corners. The fish have been immaculately cared for and the water is always crystal clear. This has resulted in a collection of very colourful, beautiful and fascinating fish. I love watching their spectacular ‘piranha-like’ feeding frenzy. I have loved keeping them.
Any further offers before I sell it ?
